Signing up online doesn't always work the first time, you may need to try again or have an active Avon rep submit your information to Avon. Be sure you put in accurate information and as much as you can, as Avon verifies the information. It is best to pay with a credit card that has the same billing address as the person signing up. If the online sign up doesn't go through, you will be emailed information to help you further.

We also buy the Avon bags we deliver the products in(you don't have to use these bags) There are a few sizes to choose from:

At times we also have returns, this will usually cost a few dollars to do, so if it's a small item it may be easier to try and sell it to someone else first or perhaps wait to see if you also have a return in the next campaign. The returns are proccesed online and are easy to do.
The Avon bags are nice to use since they say Avon on them and give you a bit more of a professional look. The first 3 types are simple white paper bags with Avon printed on them. The last 2 are bigger and have loop handles and also say Avon on the side, only nicer than the white ones.
As Avon representative we can also have a web store or be an eRep. We can only sell Avon online using the eStore from Avon and it cost about $15 a month, although for some time they have been waving the fee for new Reps or if we have a purchase during a given campaign.
Avon has selling campaigns and each last about 2 weeks. At the end of each campaign we submit our orders online, we can submit more than one order per campaign, but it will cost $7 dollars extra. We can now submit our orders over the phone, but that also will cost $7 extra. Normally we receive our orders 2 business days after our submission deadline and have about a week and a half to deliver the product, leave the current campaign Avon brochures and pay our Avon bill before we have to submit our next order. If we submit our orders according to the schedule for our Avon District we only pay a small processing fee of $2.50 for our order. Avon is in the process of going to one simple fee to cover all this.
Selling Avon isn't for everyone, in reality selling anything isn't for everyone. However, everyone knows Avon, so it's not like you are selling something no one has ever heard of or know nothing about. Since the Online start up cost is only $215 you are risking very little money and will likely earn that back by your second campaign.
